At Nash Produce, we have a strong commitment to supplying our customers and consumers with fresh, healthy and safe produce. We undergo many third party audits each year to preserve the highest processing standards for produce in the industry. We are certified as a grower, packing house facility and for storage and transportation of our produce.
It is extremely important to Nash Produce to ensure that all products are handled in the most effective ways to keep all produce and procedures monitored for best practices. We take many measures to make certain our products are supplied at the highest level of quality and safety. All employees undergo proper safety training and follow very precise GAP guidelines on hygiene and sanitation.
Our storage facilities are inspected daily for cleanliness and proper temperate levels. In addition, our packaging materials, machines for grading and packaging areas are closely monitored and internally inspected on a regular basis.
Lastly, Nash Produce has a dedicated Food Safety program managed by Jeannette Edgerton. She serves as the point of contact for our growers and customers and has a solid background in HACCP and regulatory standards. Jeannette’s experience with internal and external auditing, product testing, environmental sampling, SOP’s, sanitation, training, asset management, scheduling and forecasting, and document management is a huge asset to our company.
