Nash Produce, recently purchased in March 2006 by a group of area growers in North Carolina, was started by Dale C. Bone in 1977. With a commitment to product quality and customer service, along with it’s prime location (1 mile west of NC Exit #132 on I-95), the business evolved from a single cucumber grading station, to one of the largest cucumber and sweetpotato processing facilities in the United States.

The facility, situated on almost 85 acres, includes 27 buildings. We have 600,000 square feet of storage with over 200,000 square feet being fully climate-controlled.

Produce processing equipment includes 2 Backus 12 drop cucumber graders, fresh cucumber crate lines, hydro-coolers, high volume icemaker, and a kerian sizer for sweetptotato processing.

We also maintain and offer an electronic truck scale, and easily accommodate 100 tractor-trailers during peak season for your freight logistics.

Grower owners are from 9 North Carolina counties with production spread over a 120- mile radius and include some of the best soils in the world for growing vegetables. This large growing area should mitigate issues sometimes brought on by Mother Nature.

Collectively our growers devote over 35,000 acres to crop production. Our growers are young but seasoned farmers, trained and educated in crop production.

Nash Produce’s experienced management team desires long-term partnerships with both growers and customers to bring only the highest quality products and service to your business.

Nash Produce is certified under the Good Agricultural and Good Handling Practices Program, administered by the United States Department of Agriculture.
